This weekend the kids had their first opportunity to don this year’s Halloween costumes. Saturday evening we went to the Spooktacular event at North Mecklenburg Park. During our brief stay, Emma Kate and Jack took part in a costume contest, spent a little time with Juliana and her family, and rode the carousel. Sunday we visited with Daddy’s Daddy, Mary, Phillip, and Patrick. Sunday evening the kids carved (Jack painted) their pumpkins. Orphan Annie (aka Emma Kate) and her dog Sandy (aka Jack) are ready for trick-or-treat fun!
