We enjoyed the almost 90 degree weather outside with Miss Jo and Fletcher today at the sandlot park in Davidson. It looks like spring/summer has finally arrived! We were so glad to finally get to spend some time together! Here are some pics from today:

On the way home from Emma Kate’s preschool art show, I asked Jack to tell me Mommy’s name. He quickly replied, “Miss Tonya.” Then, I asked him to tell me Daddy’s name. Last weekend we celebrated Jack turning 2 and
Emma Kate turning 5. The kids had lots of fun playing in the backyard,
eating cake,
pulling pinata strings,
and taking wagon rides pulled by Pawpaw and Mr. Eric.
The day was lots of fun; it was great to see the kids play and have a good time.

The kids decided Discovery Place would be a good outing for Jack’s birthday. Before pushing through the crowds at DP, we visited the much quieter and less crowded Imaginon. It was lots of fun.

Today we celebrate the big 02! Even though he has been “acting two” for a while now, today, it’s official! We love you birthday boy!
Emma Kate picked out the coolest little remote control car for Jack… I think she is enjoying it as much as he is!
