The kids decided Discovery Place would be a good outing for Jack’s birthday. Before pushing through the crowds at DP, we visited the much quieter and less crowded Imaginon. It was lots of fun.
After Imaginon, we walked over to Discovery Place where we saw the new candy exhibit, the big bear (Jack’s favorite), and Emma’s friend, Savannah. We followed DP with a quick lunch at Dean and Deluca (great food, but way over-priced). Then, we headed to Park Road Park and enjoyed some time outside (during the warmest part of the day when the temperature may have reached 55).
Our day ended with a fun visit to Chris’ dad’s house. Mary invited us to dinner, and now Emma Kate has a new favorite… spinach lasagna! It was great to visit with everyone; Chris, at 6′1″, is now officially the short one among the Harrington men (except for Jack, of course)!
