Today, while Jack napped, Emma Kate and I baked vegan chocolate chip cookies. Admittedly, the process of baking cookies with Emma was more enjoyable than the taste of the cookies. The best part about making vegan cookies is that it’s safe to eat the cookie dough! We’ll keep trying new recipes until we find one we like.
Jack woke up this morning with a 102 degree fever. Aside from the fever, he doesn’t have any “sick symptoms.” But, he has felt pretty lousy most of the day. This may sound horrible, but I always enjoy the extra cuddling and lap holding that goes along with my kids being sick!
